Yes, it is simplicity itself. There are no trade- offs between career and family; welfare did not involve perverse incentives that had to be cured; we should expect our schools to improve while protecting teachers from evaluation; we should discourage foreign investment, while promoting global prosperity; curtailing or making more expensive numerous aspects of industrial civilization for the sake of the environment will not affect economic growth or jobs; although we have trouble ensuring that our own economy has steady growth, somehow it is no problem to improve the lot of everyone else on the globe as a tactic in curtailing global terror........
