We have to make our country safe from all potential terrorist attacks.

That cannot be done. Not even at any cost.

The key to winning a war is not a strong defense. It is having the best offense. Two good recent historical examples are Normandy and the Maginot line.

If our defense is predestined to fail from the outset, as I believe it is, our offense becomes critically important.

If you understand the nature of war, John Kerry's 20 year history of voting against offensive weapons systems is outrageous or as his wife would say, "UN-American".

Mary, have you ever observed cargo being unloaded? It comes in steel shipping containers that can be put on the back of tractor trailer trucks. Do you have any idea how many of those containers enter the country every year?

Six million.

Do you know how many are inspected?

2%.

If you want to fret about security, I suggest that our tax dollars would be better spent there than in the National Archives.
