It's not only their liberal agenda. It's also their grandiose sense of their militaristic might and strength through heroics. But what a facade that is!

For instance, all Kerry does is brag about his three purple hearts earned during his foreshortened four months in Vietnam.

Next, he brags about his bravado in the face of enemy fire.

Finally, he refuses to answer the charges against his leadership leveled by his former comrades as published in swiftvets.com.

To make matters even more disgusting: At noon today, Boston time, Kerry and some of his Vietnam buddies are slated to reinvade Boston from a simulated Swift boat. They will skim across the waters of Boston Harbor in an air suspended flight ship and land on the shores of Convention Center. All of this intended to let the USA know what a band of heroes are ready and able to save us from the likes of George W. Bush.

Come to think of it: What better symbol of the Democratic National Convention than their chosen leader arriving in Boston on a layer of hot air.

What we have listened to all week long (those of us who cared to listen) has been hours and hours of hot air.

Might as well use up some of it to float their leader across the water and up to the podium so that he can launch his career as the President Who Saved US All from those dreadful Republican War Mongers.

I was always under the impression that the demographic of convention delegates should mirror the party as a whole. Apparently that is not the case with the current crop of democratic delegates.

A report I heard on the radio reported today that the current crop of delegates is far more liberal than democrats in general. This is just further evidence that the party is being hijacked by the far left. It's unfortunate for the party, because allowing the far more liberal Dems to set the agenda marginalizes the party and makes it less relevant.
