I assure you Brian my position on the authority of scripture is every bit as Reformed and orthodox as yours. Sola Scriptura does not deny tradition or history, it places them where they belong; subject to Scripture.

Unfortunately , I just payed you a high compliment by some other religion's values placed upon holy snakes...and that do not malign snakes in their cosmology and theology different than your little superstition~filled sandbox . See that you can take the compliment gracefully , ok ? Ever try handling a poisoness snakes or drinking foul droughts in the name of your God? You, i am positive would remain unchanged and unharmed...

Hello to all from China - I am in ChengDu having travelled from Xi`an and Shanghai and Hongkong. Attended a church in Shanghai and plan to visit another in ChengDu tomorrow. It is Saturday night 9:38 as I write. This place is a real eye opener to the needs that exist in this world - REAL NEEDS. I have been very convicted about wasting time with much of the foolishness that continues on these threads - and realize that I have reaped what I have sown - I see no benefits being realized with the manner of "discussions" that occur here to be honest.
