Heard a bit of this gentlemans speech....makes a person wonder with class people like this available why in the world choose a person like kerry. Must be the money thing.

The people will choose Kerry because the other person available to them is junior, just as they chose Gore in 2000 instead of junior. Obama isn't running for president. Your post would make sense if you had said "makes a person wonder with class people like John McCain available in 2000 why in the world they would choose a person like junior. Must be the money thing."

Obama is an impressive personality. I hope he does well in his political career. Eventually we're likely to elect a Democrat President again, so it'd be good if they had some better candidates available when that time comes.

Between Obama and Edwards, whom would you choose for VP. Besides, Obama proved that President Kerry would have a wealth of able folks to draw on in the Congress.
