Hey, Po,

I think we may even be closer than a "little different" at this point- I have always seen you as a conservative liberal, and me a liberal conservative (a practical dreamer and a dreamy realist?) I am just so unhappy with both alternatives that I can't commit with any comfort.

Last night we were going to a show and I put on some shoes that had felt fine in the store, and ten minutes later I was back in the closet getting another pair. But then the second pair started pinching after a few minutes, so I went back to the closet for the first pair...I actually put both pairs in the car and made the decision when we got to the theatre-- That's what's happening to me right now.
I really want a comfortable pair of old worn keds, tried and true and reliable that won't unexpectedly have a heel come off, or give me a giant painful blister.
(Have I stretched this metaphor far enough?? :)

Good last statement.
It IS the very personal aspect of what meets each person's needs that has gotten lost. The ability to realize that just because one dislikes something doesn't make it an absolute wrong. I think we both are pretty good with that concept, though.

It's nice to see you!
