I was in grade school when JFK ran against Nixon and there were two Democrat families in my entire class.........mine was one of them. IN those days in upstate NY, most people were Rockefeller Republicans or they didn't get a job.My Dad was a popoular Mayor of our small town cause he donated lumber to build the church hall and the equipment to make the town beach on Lake Champlain. The people were practical there. I started debating politics at that early age and haven't stopped yet!!! :?)
