Nope, there was supposed to be a second Security Council resolution to decide the next step, but once Dumbya realized that the votes may not be there, he just went ahead with the invasion.

As for the US not dealing with NATO or the UN, well, Dumbya's administration is doing exactly that now! However, since he had brushed them aside before, neither the NATO nor the UN is in any mood to help.

We broke Iraq. Now we own it! (Cost of ownership so far : 900+ soldiers dead and $200B of treasure)

Isn't that exactly what happened and you see the mess Bush created????? You happy with that?

But now, he realizes the error of his ways and he's been sucking up to the UN, NATO, and the rest of world since. Things having been going his way, however....how many new nations have signed up for the coalition versus how many have dropped out..... Bush's foreign policy has failed.
