The US actually DID invade Canada once. canoe.ca Before anyone gets too excited about "US imperialism", perhaps they should recall this was during the War of 1812, a war brought on by the British from the US POV, and Canada was part of the British Empire and not an independent country then. It was also followed by this: u-s-history.com a "Canadian" invasion of the United States which was defeated. So the Canadian claim that they won the last round isn't quite true.
