<<...Bush/Cheney will have to go negative fast...>>

They have already gone negative in A BIGGER WAY than any other presidential campaign in history (they've spent over $75 Million on negative ads so far)...With Karl Rove at the helm of Bush's political organization you can count on a dirty campaign...Mr. Rove's one of those guys who likes to win at all costs -- ends justify the means for the Radical CONservatives that run the Republican Party right now.

Clinton nailed it "They need a divided nation, but we don't". The central theme of the Lee Atwater Southern Strategy has been to divide through wedge issues, fear mongering, racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, faux patriotic misinformation/slander, then conquer. This has involved trying to claim the flag, God and the military for the rightwing extremists. This country has been a bunch of big suckers to let them get away with that crapola. Proof is that the true Christian and war hero politicians are almost all Democrats.
