Yes, I know Iran is next on the War Party's path to global supremacy. There is a question about whether or not they'll actually invade Iran, which seems doubtful, Bush doesn't have the political capital at the moment to pull something like that off. It will probably be more like a coup or some other covert means of controlling Iran. No, I don't think it's all about oil, but it's a big factor in our involvement in the Middle East. I think it's also about regligion, opium (control) of the masses in America, nothing works better than religion. Another main motivation for all this war mongering in the Middle East is to perpetuate the arms trade and their backers in the military/industrial complex. It keeps the American people focused on militarism, and keeps them distracted from demanding that the government improve their neighborhoods and quality of life. Oh, what a windfall 9/11 and the subsequent wars have been for those ghouls.
