Power is wealth. Clinton entered the presidency with nothing, came out wealthy.


You only see what you want to see. He paid a very dear price for that wealth. First and foremost, they have calculated that a US president loses roughly 5-8 years off his life just by being president. All the money in the world can't buy back those years.

Secondly, he did what probably half of American men do......fooled.......and he got caught. However, as US president, he paid a much steeper price than those other men. He was publicly humiliated in front of 260 million people. For years, he was ostracized by his family, by his party and by his country.

And yet you begrudge his few millions. Its ridiculous to hate someone so much that you begrudge them any kind of happiness at all. You all point out ad nauseum how much we hate Bush and I have never wished him badly in his personal life or begrudge him future happiness.
