They are still harping about losing the Vietnam war to "commies" when everyone knows that even though the Vietnamese Communists are authoritarians like the U.S. Government; they are 1,000 times better off under the Communist Government than they ever were under our domination. We murdered 4,000,000 Vietnamese, many of which were innocent civilian bystanders. We dumped tens of millions of gallons of chemical weapons on these innocent Vietnamese villagers which caused them hundreds of thousands of birth defects still happening today; and made thousands of acres of land still unusable today because the Agent Orange turned the dirt into hard unusable polluted clay that won't grow a thing. We napalmed whole villages of innocent civilians knowing we were murdering mostly innocent women and children. We shot women and children point blank, just like we're doing in Iraq now; because when you're told to kill everything that moves or that could be sympathetic to the "enemy"; that's what you do; you kill everybody including little babies and old grandmothers, just like in Iraq now. While I was there I saw widespread hunger and malnutrition and the people were treated like shit, plain and simple. Murdered at our whimsy and treated like shit while alive, just like in Iraq now. But these nutcase Swiftvets would like us to think that somehow we should have won the war if we'd just "had the gumption" to stick it out with "real leaders" leading us on to "victory" (whatever the costs to the innocent people). They would have gladly murdered all Vietnamese, to "make them free." The Vietnamese are much better off without us around, believe me; and they treat their own people pretty good, not much repression compared to the repression/oppression they lived through under us, believe me. Swiftvets are mentally disturbed rightwingers who worship George Bush because he's pro-War. They hate anything "liberal", including human rights and the rights of free speech; and really hate America. Keep that in mind when you read any propaganda they put out about John Kerry (and believe me I'm not a John Kerry supporter.) it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

Your post shows you really know nothing of Kerry's service. He was on the Gridley, a carrier escort, off Vietnam for a year before volunteering for the Swift Boats. He could have remained on the Gridley for his whole hitch. The group you cite didn't serve with Kerry, but is a political oppo group headed up by a guy Nixon chose to oppose Kerry's antiwar activities, a long time political operator.
