Why do you doubt it? It's the election season after all. What else is happening in Texas today? I bet it's all over the talk radio shows in Texas today, and will even be mentioned in the newspapers. More good PR on the part of Moore. What ever you think of Moore as a person and his politics, you have to admire his ability to play the PR game and promote his movies. He's quite a businessman for someone who's supposedly so oppossed to the business-uber-alles mentality in America.
