There was a NJ poll released today from one of the universities in North Jersey (perhaps John Ms) which has kerry leading 45-43. No one believes it but no one can explain it either. Kerry is expected to win in NJ by a landslide. This poll may just be an abberation and way off but it may indicate something more about the unpopularity of kerry. A lot of catholics and right to life folks in NJ may have been turned off when kerry said he believes life starts at conception. Many pro-choice folks were probably upset by that as well. Maybe taking both sides of every issue will ultimately alienate him from folks we are assuming will vote for him. Someone said to me recently: I dont agree with Bush but at least I know what he believes. With Kerry this is impossible. "

PS if nj in play what of CA?
