What exactly is "anti-American"? Could you define that term? Is being against seeing our young people die in war "anti-American"?!? That's would be an awfully strange twist. Being in favor of saving American lives is somehow "anti-American"?!? Boy, that's downright Orwellian. Bowling for Columbine certainly wasn't "anti-American". Critiquing our gun violence and how it compares to other countries is "anti-American"? For some reason for some of our rabid "patriots", intellectual pursuits are equivalent to "anti-Americanism". That says a lot about the sorry state of our society.
