This is the greatest country in the world at the moment, and could be for a lot longer. I am not LT downbeat. We have a way of correcting our problems, even if in the interim it doesn't seem that way. Maybe it has something to do with the way the ballot box works - I dunno. Just is until it isn't. Was just in Britian for a spell. They don't like Bush and can't figure out what the hell Blair was up to. Blair is probably done too imo. He has two years yet I believe, unless he calls a vote. One Brit opined to me about WMD - Who in the world has the most? I've thought the same.

Of course nsp and myself only represent a small fraction of the voters. Others have different opinions both sides of the isles. But we need a change on both sides. BTW since we are off topic I have to hand it to Ralph Emerson. Of course we all know he is crazy and a bit out there <gggg> and well like I said the other day he has a lot of axes to grind IMHO, but I admire him. 1.He is not afraid to take a stand. 2. He is not afraid to verbalize it. 3. He does not back down when there are some detractors. 4. He is not afraid to say something that may cause him to lose a popularity contest. To me that is the sign of a person who knows what freedom of speech and action is. But I don't know if I would vote for him yet! <g> Besides he has gotten so mean to us Yanks he has me scared!. LOL. tom
