The Israeli Palestinian situation is key to peace in the middle east. Hard to believe that Bush ignored that situation in the beginning of his administration. What a difference he had a chance to make there. Instead we have spiraled out of control in the ME and the entire region. Vote Kerry if you want to see a more active role in guiding the Israelis and Palestinians to a peaceful accord. We need to start a program of assistance to both peoples...not just the Israelis. Economic assistance especially for Palestine. The poverty there is re-inventing terrorists every generation. Lets get some industry going there as a start...then tourism would be a natural follow up. A key to ending terror is ending poverty and despair. Orca
