uw, With your anomosity toward Kerry's military service, you never have commented on your feelings about GWBush's pro Vietnam stance yet avoidance of active military service (and probable AWOL status from his privileged stateside duty). I know that you wouldn't respect the same from a Clinton or a Kerry...

Uncle, I'll take a look at the book when it's available. In every interview I've seen so far, however, those that oppose Kerry for his post-Vietnam attacks on the conduct of, and reasons for, the war, do NOT attack him for his conduct during his tour. In fact some of those who oppose him have said very clearly that during his tour he was sharp, aggressive and brave. It's the "afterwards" that pisses them off. Of course for me it's the "afterwards" that I believe reflects the "truth."
