Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I don't agree. I've seen more than a few political cartoons showing Osama on ice in major papers. I think the press, after being so manipulated with WMD, would be especially suspicious. Madeline Allbright has already said she thinks they've got him stashed at the present time. Also, if America is dumb enough in the aggregate to be repeatedly manipulated like that, we deserve Bush! Given Bush's continuing level of support, despite everything, we may be dumb enough.
