I agree with your analysis of action. But I don't think that they will ever just start with the random murders. I believe the pressure is so great that those who would organize such activities spend 99.99% of their resources trying to stay alive. The terrorist problem is that unless they can do a 911 type event they really don't get right kind attention that will make for converts. And I expect that secret money people of 9-11 are now in many cases food for the fishes. I do believe the money sources have dried up. And with the CIA talking up how they have compromised the FUD is an outstanding pressure to paralyze the weekend wachos.
