I think the type of anger you describe comes from people with poor ego boundaries, which causes their egos to be weak and vulnerable. They protect their egos by lashing out. They can't handle being disrespected. The boundary issues don't have to be caused by hurt, the hurt can come from weak, easily broken boundaries. Poor parenting that isn't abusive can cause weak ego boundaries. But being abused does cause weak ego boundaries. If that sounds like gobbledegook I will clarify later, taking the kids out for Chinese. Later.
