Good point, anarchists acting as a group is another oxymoron. :-) Sometimes I have a hard time telling the difference between anarchists and libertarians. Both are suppossedly individualist and anti-government. Both are essentially philiosophies that believe the individual is capable of running his/her life without government interference, that the government is more or less unecessary.

That's probably why both philosophies never really get much more than a cult following. They're rather idealistic. To think humans could just coexist without any government is a pretty idealistic stance to take. Sure, we're probably led to believe that we need the government a lot more than we actually need it in many cases. But, life without any form of government would probably devolve into chaos. There are too many barbarians amongst us who would run wild at the first opportunity. Which is one of the misconceptions of Anarchy, it's not about running wild, it's about being mature enough in your individual actions that you don't need government to tame you.
