Kerry has moved to the center for a very responsible reason. He told me personally two years ago that he felt a moral obligation to move to the middle to listen to and represent ALL Americans. Some liberals at the fundraiser were arguing with him but he held his ground.

Besides, he's sick of old liberalism and 9-11 brought out his inner toughness like nothing before. That's why he wanted to trust Bush on Iraq even though he knew he probably shouldn't have. But Kerry was also stunned when Osama was allowed to get away at Tora Bora. He was outraged.

Remember, this is a guy who laid his life on the line to defend his country and killed over 20 enemy personally. He's not some Dukakis type, he's a real all-American man.
