Right on the money, Buddy. While I support the President's actions in Afhganistan/Iraq, the War on Terror and tax cuts, I am strongly opposed to the continued freewheeling federal spending on programs other than defense. Out with the UN, most foreign aid, corporate welfare, the Dept of Education, etc. Many non-defense programs are duplicative, prone to abuse, self-inflating, and are the proper domain of states, municipalities, and charitable organizations.

Still, national security trumps...and Bush' shortcomings in the spending area would be far worse under Kerry--MK--
