I think you misunderstand what I'm saying. This was a rally speech not a reality speech. The goal here is to score points and he accomplished that. His voting record and military record are just noise at an event like this. He could have promised me the world tonight and I'd still vote for Bush. But that speech is going to play GREAT to the people he was gunning for.

Kerry-Biden's 87 billion bill was the right way to go. Don't you want the now-vanished 87 billion accounted for? Paid for? And some of it as a loan for some Iraqi oil we paid in blood and dollars to liberate? You want Exxon to make record windfall profits but the US taxpayers to pay for everything and thousands of US soldiers to die or be maimed without getting anything back for our country? And why shouldn't the billionaires chip in for the war? What's wrong with Bushies fighting to immunize the billionaires from having to pay for any of the war? This war is pure debt you realize. And almost nothing we give them back trickles down to anywhere.
