Kudos on that post.

Amazing that Bush - and Cheney - avoided service through their family
connections, and yet they have the gumption to question others who
serve (Kerry, and even Gore, for that matter). Their hypocrisy knows
no limits. Why any vet would support those people is beyond me.

Bush let others fight and die for him, while he drank and partied and
had a fun time defending us against Mexico. A fact of record, no matter how
much the conservative media spins it otherwise.

GST,

unclewest will never respond to the question of Bush's running from duty. It shows that even decorated (and educated) war veterans are subject to the same petty partisanship as others. I have asked him several times in his derision of Kerry how he then can support someone who avoided active service like GW Bush, and he responds by attacking me and avoiding the question. Disappointing.
