Forget this "liberal" tag. It's outdated. Kerry told me personally two years ago that he recognizes that when running for presdient he needs to represent ALL Americans not just Democrats or Massachusetts left-leaners. He also said he was not going to kowtow to Deanie and "goo-goo eyed liberals". That my friends is a strong centrist-progressive, not a liberal or left-winger. But Kerry enjoys the support almost all liberals this year, unlike many candidates of the past.

I thought Kerry did very well last night
on content, enthusiasm, and leadership tone
far better than I had expected

I heard specifics in the last 48 hrs on his
... tax plans, program initiatives

the most encouraging part was what sounded like a national project
for fuel cell research, and other alternative energy sources
we as a nation have to get going on serious R&D for fuelcells
like massive research grants, massive product subsidies
the $100 billion blown in Iraq could have done much for R&D
instead, it is wasted, with soldier lives

new energy national programs are EXACTLY what can legitimately lift the entire economy in a real way

I took notes on specifics for programs and tax measures
he will not win any votes from the wealthy, unless they have civic consciences

as for Bushy, I have something specific to note
I HAVE NEVER SEEN A NEGATIVE CAMPAIGN FROM A SITTING PRESIDENT
USUALLY THEY POINT TO THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
AND ASK FOR 4 MORE YEARS IN THE SAME PATH
his campaign points to insecurity and failure
