Sam,

Cable connection is far superior than DSL. A lot less down time based on friends' comments.

All my friends in Ca and in Ny switched to Cable when it was available.

I started with cable and never used DSL.

Joining in here a bit late, but I have Comcast cable TV and a cable modem hookup. I'm looking at my current statement which shows a balance of $107.69.

Digital Copper Package (standard cable, basic and expanded, digital cable, 1 terminal and remote and Encore.) $55.99

HSI Choicelink monthly (Modem equip and HSI Svc) $ 45.95

Add a slew of crappy taxes and my bottom line is $107.69

I should say I'm in the Denver area.

Considering I watch very little TV, this is NOT the best deal I probably could find. I'm too lazy to search.
