What do the Swift Boat vets think of Dumbya? All the Vietnam Vets I know use to call National Guard servicemen during Vietnam sh*theads! And that was the ones who actually showed up! I think most of these guys resent Kerry's opposition to the war after returning. Another thing - I keep hearing "Kerry was only in Nam 4 months!" - this is a lie. He volunteered for Vietnam, spent a YEAR on the Gridley in the Gulf of Tonkin, then volunteered for Swift Boat duty. So, his actual time was at least 16 months. I'll take the word of the guys who were actually on his boat and under his command. THOSE guys were on the stage with him last night.

LIAR! Swiftvets are liars. It's a rightwing political dirty tricks site, that's all. The truth is that 13 out of the 15 surviving SWift Boat vets Kerry actually fought with were onstage with him last night, some of them lifelong Republicans. These so-called Swiftvets for truth misrepresent themselves as "men who served with Kerry". The rightwing dishonestly puts men out there who did not fight with Kerry and probably never even met him. They are simply Bush supporters who happened to be in the same theater of war. These dishonest vets or pseudo-vets are making a mistake trying to trash a true military leader/hero and support an AWOl coward who lied to the American People (when Bush told Meet The Press he'd fulfilled all his duties). There is still 15 months of Bush's Guard time when he either vanished, didn't show up or left early to go to Harvard Business School, back home in New england with the upperclass elite where he came from.
