Hellooooo
I loved 5 quarters of the Orange- and I've read All We Need Now is a Title- I got it at B and N I think.

I dropped by the Thanes of Cawdor over the weekend- they send you their best. :-) Lovely castle they have- and the gardens were absolutely to die for. Masses of color, and when you get tired of the English garden thing, there is a formal rose garden, and then, nature walks- with a little creek- very pretty, lots of fun- and a tea room which the kids liked quite a bit.

I am guarding my shoes very carefully by the way. I know EXACTLY what you mean- and I think you're right.

If you can get a book called True Brits I think you AND Mr. Rambi might enjoy it. It is all about strange things brits and scots and Welshman do- like bog snorkeling championships and the Burry man festival and Cheese rolling and shin kicking. very funny stuff- especially in the hands of the author- who is as funny as Bill Bryson, maybe funnier.

The Inverness book festival starts this weekend- I lament the fact that you will not be here to enjoy it with me.

take care, and I will give your regards to Duncan
