True, but Bush is no Nixon (not that I agreed with his politics/ethics, but he was a decent statesman with a clear track record).

Seems like the bar is set pretty low.

best part of speech was his salute and reporting for duty. as i recollect he ran from his duty and has not provided any support for military programs in last twenty years.

I thought it was stupid, but then these guys do follow their speech writers.
