My favorite parts of the convention were when Kerry's family was on stage. I've always been kind of cool towards Kerry and it made me see him in a different light.

In this day and age for someone who has been in the public eye as much as Kerry to raise two obviously bright, well-adjusted kids says a lot about him. So does the high regard that his step-children show for him. I know a lot of people who don't have relationships that good with their own kids, much less their step-children. And it's not like they were speaking well of him because they needed a job, Teresa's kids will inherit hundreds of millions of dollars, they can do whatever they want.

And Teresa is clearly not someone who tolerates fools lightly, herself. I think if John pulled a Clinton she would Bobbit him. She is going to be a tremendous goodwill ambassador for us.
