you can be for defending your country, then go to war in support of your country, realize the war is unjust while you are fighting, and all at same time be against atrocities committed during the war. Yes, agreed, if one is sincere. If one does this solely for personal gain, finger in the wind, with an eye on the highest office in the land, then one is a fraud. I believe John Kerry to be a fraud. EDIT: and the atrocities John Kerry claimed against his fellow servicemen: He would be brought up for war crimes for not reporting them at the time.
