Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB!

The Military moral is high! The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts.

The comment re. FDR is ridiculous.......Germany and Japan were working in concert. Of all the wars, your email cites......WW II was the only war where Americans were firmly behind the war effort.

As for the Korean and Vietnam wars, I don't care much what past presidents have done. And Eisenhower won on a compaign promising to bring the troops home and Johnson was hung out of dry after it was learned that he did the same thing Bush has done.....lied to escalate or start a war.

As for what Bush I and Clinton did, I have mixed feelings about their actions but at least they were multi lateral efforts that did not drain our troop power nor our treasury.
I think we are coming to the point where presidents need to stop starting wars.....that was not one of the powers given to them by FF and Congress needs to make sure they don't do it in the future.

As for the email's final point, "troop morale is high"......that's not what I'm hearing from guys over in Iraq. In fact, you should complain to the email's sender for sending you a bunch of lies. ;~)

" That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war torn country of Iraq."

Urr, of course, most people in Detroit don't go around while wearing body armor, carrying M16s and driving armored vehicles. Other than that, the comparison is pretty accurate...

Oh yeah, I forgot. There probably are more than 150k or so in Detroit. I could be wrong about that...
