Better. Not so many people, it seems, who have been out of work for 6-12+ months. But, their new jobs pay less, from the anecdotal evidence I've seen/heard. Also, outsourcing is THE hot topic, although I think it affects this area more than any other area of the country. Housing market is unusually hot. Freeways are more crowded, a sure sign of recovery. But, will SV lose it's magic because of the outsourcing and assault on stock options? If so, fear for our ability to compete in the years to come.
