This was my question:

Can anyone tell me why Bush did not challenge the intelligence report since he as President is this nation's last best hope to ensure that this nation acts wisely. It is about wisdom, courage, valor.

it is obvious why the rightwing needs to try and slander Kerry's war record today in particular. But this is nothing new for Kerry just on a much bigger scale, The same lies have come out then been corrected in every campaign he's every fought. The GOP cannot defeat Kerry but they damn well try, with the only last ditch weapon at their disposal, lies, distortions, false witnesses and innuendos. That's where Kerry's dozen or so honest crewmen come in to correct the record and cover his back. They always have, they always will. You saw them last night, all honest upstanding men.
