The Republicans plan to talk about Kerry's legislative record ...

...is not surprising. Their own record especially on the foreign-policy has been disastrous -- with Iraq turning into a failed state and Afghanistan sliding back into chaos.

On the social issues, they have divided the people in a desperate bid to grab votes and on the economic front, their debt-induced "recovery" has resulted in a real-estate bubble and a second stock-market bubble (and bond-market bubble), with the latter two already showing signs of collapsing.

Yes, and when comparing Kerry's life record with Bush, their argument completely breaks down. What was Bush doing while Kerry was in Vietnam, and afterwards protesting the war to help his comrades? Cheerleading, drinking, driving drunk, and challenging his dad to fights. While Kerry was a prosecutor and a Senator? Drinking, running an oil company into the ground, getting a sweetheart deal into baseball, putting his own face on baseball cards so that he might finally win the approval of Dad.

That doesn't even include Bush's dismal record as President.

Pretty pathetic.
