Thanks...

"The crux of their complaints seem to be about his charges of war crimes. Kerry claims that he did not see any war crimes, but was reiterating stories that he heard from fellow vets at a closed meeting sometime shortly after he got back."

"War stories" ... are like fish stories. There is a tendency to stretch and to report things urban legend as facts that you saw or know someone who was there.

I have met several people who claim to have been in the New Mexico house where the cactus explodes with a taranchula nest inside.

I have heard several Viet Nam stories that were obviously passed around but the teller always claims to be the one witnessing the event.

I am asking if there was corroboration for Kerry's testimony of pervasive atrocities among eye witnesses. The popular rage against the Viet Nam war in the US for 35 years has been primarily based on this.

I understand that the swiftvets are building a case to call it fraudulant slander. Are there two stories, one being Kerry's based only on hear say, and the other being thousands of Vets who say he is wrong? Or, is there eyewitness support for the Kerry version?

How many of the swift boat supporters signed up to support Kerry for an all expense paid vacation with their families to Boston?
