The generals backing Kerry are the finest and wisest.
The military does not like being ordered to war without a clear mission, rationale or peace plan. They also don't like a POTUS who alienates allies and lies to the public. The military learned in Vietnam what happens when the White House lies to the public about wars. The military is the one which suffers. There is no glory in wars based on lies.
