"In comparison to where my parents were in the Great Depression, I consider myself and family to be doing very well as are a lot of my friends whose parents went through that period.

Knowing what they struggled with through the depression and the subsequent massive effort to stop Hitler in WWII -----we have turned the corner.

The challenge now is to help the newer imigrants who are not a part of the intelligensia of their countries to move along with a better life for their families and to enjoy the freedom that they have in America.

Many of the new imigrants work for minimum wage----the American dream is still there for them----eventually, their children and grandchildren will share in that dream and be off of the minimum wage.

Yes, we have turned the corner and future generations will do likewise given time.------"

Remarks by MJ, Virginia Delegate to GOP Dallas Convention"
