<We know Iraq funded terrorism throughout the world.
>

.......... There is undoubtedly truth to that. But anyone who thinks the most effective route for the "war on terror" was a basic transfer of troops from Afghanistan to Iraq and spending $150 billion on regime change in Iraq is on crack.

There's no doubt Hussein was paying families of suicide bombers in Israel. But so was Iran. We've known that for years.

There's no doubt Hussein was pursuing weapons of mass destruction. But Iran and North Korea have been pursuing those weapons too. Again, we've known that for years.

Hussein was basically contained prior to the invasion.

The invasion of Iraq has been a human waste, as well as a pathetic waste of our national treasure.

Saudi Arabia provided Osama, 15 of the 19 hijackers, and has funded Madrassas and terrorists for years, much more so than Iraq, even holding pan-arab telethons that raised millions for the families of Palestinian "martyrs". Why didn't we invade them?
