An al-Qaeda-linked group which it calls itself ‘Islam Boli Brigade’ has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s nefarious attack on a Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz.

A militant group Saturday posted a statement on a website in Arabic which claimed responsibility for Friday's suicide assassination attempt on Aziz.

The militant group says the attack was unleashed because Pakistani government handed over to US some accused wanted to America.

The al-Qaeda-linked group, whose chief is Khalid Islam Boli, had killed president of Egypt, Anwar Saddat, in 1981 during a military parade.

The group has offered the Pakistani government for cease-fire and warned it would continue with bloody attacks, if the government didn’t change its attitude and stop handing over wanted criminals to the US.
