I spent a day at that sculpture park. It's more than statues, they have flower gardens and lakes full of ducks and geese, and an theatrical performance of Alice-in-Wonderland.

There were statues all over Norway and Denmark of nude people and children embracing or playing (plus some kings and generals on horses). In general, the countries seemed free of fundamentalist religions and their hangups. The ideals of the Fanir are still strong, especially in the small cities of the Norwegian fyords.

In the legends, the Scandanavian people, or Danes were an alliance and marriage of a tribe from the Caucus region of Central Asia with strong male figures associated with Odin, and the fair and very passionate womem from the North tribes (assumed to be the Sami) associated with Freyda. Both tribes had become concerned about excessive inbreeding and so proposed this large scale gene swapping. I haven't seen if DNA analysis supports the stories.
