Thanks for your intellectual honesty. You support Kerry precisely BECAUSE of his leftist views, post-Vietnam activities, his policies and voting record. You're not trying to re-invent him into something he isn't as so many in the campaign are. I respected many McGovern supporters for similar reasons of intellectual honesty even while disagreeing with their views--MK--

Kerry is both a hawk and a dove. When we need the hawk he'll be the hawk. When we need the dove he knows how to do that too. Isn't that what we want in a leader? Meanwhile Bush made an embarrasing slogan flip-flop, first calling himself the "war president" (all hawk) and then "the peace President" (all peace). Talk about schitzophrenic.
