You make it sound like this is something new. Let me remind you that the North American bison were systematically exterminated and left to rot in huge piles because the American Indian depended on them and the settlers wanted the land. U.S. history of treatment of African Americans: Abominable. U.S. history of supporting corrupt dictators in South America: Abominable U.S. support for Israel occupation forces: Abominable. U.S. support for the Shah of Iran and his secret police: Abominable. I could go on and on but the point is the Iraq situation is nothing new or unique, just more of the usual for America the beautiful.
