Jim & Thread, Steve Jobs has (hopefully had, past tense) pancreatic cancer. Always seems like nice people get cancer.

story.news.yahoo.com

Steve Jobs (news - web sites), the charismatic chief executive of Apple Computer Inc. and Pixar Animation Studios, said Sunday he had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his pancreas but added he expects a full recovery.
--------------------

His creativity and imagination are much needed by the industry. Especially as the world goes hightech consumer. He needs to recover quickly. This industry needs his innovation.

My Dad had around 7 surgeries due to pancreatis (from an infected GB). The pancreas can be a somewhat challenging organ for doctors. It's an organ that needs more research.

There's a guy posting on yahoo that said he had pancreatic cancer and survived it.
