Patty America I don't want to upset anyone here about storing our nuclear waste beneath Yucca Mountain.
The facts are America has spent way more than a hundred dollars to drill into it.
Where we gonna put it? New Jersey?
Bruce won't allow that so let's figure out where we will put that stuff.
It, in it's containers, are 300 plus degrees on the OUTSIDE of the containers. Gives me the heebie-jeebies.
Consider it will only take 10,000 years for it to be friendly again.
Our folks in D.C. decided Yucca Mountain years ago, put billions of our money into that project, and if we decide another location where we gonna go?
Nevada, bless it's heart, seems a likely place, considering the terrain available.
It has to go somewhere.

Good Morning Patricia,

Yes we have to climb Rose. Walk and talk and stand on the top.. and have a good look around. Bring a good jacket because the wind is always blowing up there...10,776 feet. I just went out to check and there is still one little snow field on the northeastern side. Warmer than usual summer this year as usually the snow hangs on longer.

A thumb nail sketch of the route..

Yes many former Bush voters in Nevada will be Kerry voters because of Yucca. Just a good example of a Bush lie. Last I looked, Nevada was "barely Kerry" We can do better than that. :)

Well keep in touch and we will try to schedule that trip. BTW, this past Wednesday, we walked about 3 miles up the road/trail and had a little lunch along side a stream. It was nice.

Catch you later as I have to go out and get the day started :)
