I think there is a huge difference between a great company and a great trading stock. Foundry stocks don't get a lot of attention period. Not from the investment community or the media either. These guys are going to have to figure out a way to pay a healthy dividend before they will get my attention. They just don't seem to command a valuation premium.

When I invest fully at the next bottom a good portion of my money will be thrown at some stocks that I expect will be selling below book. Some of these stocks will be using TSM or UMC as a foundry, or supplying products or services to these companies, but they will all be higher beta stocks than the overlooked foundry stocks.
