Amy, great post, thanks. I think you and my wife share a LOT in common, which is probably why you understand our situation better than most on this thread. I'll take all of your suggestions to heart. However, I don't think we'll be renting out a room anytime soon, though. Our house is small enough as it is, plus we're newlyweds right now, so we'd like to keep the household just between the two of us ... and our dog. ;-) Tenchusatsu
